Grenada island
For many Grenada is the most beautiful island of the Lesser Antilles. Known as the Isle of Spice because of an abundance of such products as nutmeg and cinnamon, it has a fertile interior of rich greens with sparkling streams and waterfalls. The coast is lined with golden palm fringed beaches. It is all well worth a visit!

St. Georges
St. Georges is the capital of Grenada and the prettiest town in the Winwards. The town is built on a hill, and the houses are of stone with attractive fish tail in the roofs. Shopping is good. There are many bars and restaurants right on the waterfront, and numerous shops cater to the tourist.

There are supermarkets, banks, department stores and a pretty little museum.

Follow the excellent links if you want to find out more about the Caribbean!
